Trail of Terror

No, for the safety of all participants and actors, all vehicles on the haunted trail will be driven by a designated guide/driver that will ensure your safety and comfort throughout the ride!

By clicking the “Book Now” link on this page, you can purchase your ticket to Trail of Terror @ The Gorge. Early Bird tickets are available at a discounted rate until September 24th. After that date, tickets will still be available for purchase online in advance, at a less discounted rate. If you choose to not purchase a ticket in advance, tickets will be for sale on-site on the day of each event if availability allows. Please note that tickets are sold in time slots, and a limited number of rides are available each night.

Nope! This experience includes your vehicle AND a tour guide/driver  to chauffeur you through the trail. You will not need to bring an ATV, UTV, or Jeep to participate. In fact, no vehicles will be permitted on the trails, except for the ones we provide, driven by your designated host. All you have to do is show up, buckle up, and have a great time! We’ll take care of the rest!

Anyone can participate with the purchase of a ticket! However, riders under 52 inches tall will be required to purchase tickets for the Jeep tour, and NOT the Side by Side tour. Please note that we will accommodate your car seats, but they are not provided. Riders purchasing tickets for the Side by Side guided tour MUST be above 52 inches tall.

Trail of Terror @ The Gorge is a rain or shine event! After all, extra rain means extra mud, and that makes for one heck of a four wheeling experience! If you chose to not attend due to weather or other reasons, please note that, due to the special nature of our events and limited availability, we do not offer refunds. Tickets can be rescheduled the week of the event, with a $50 rescheduling fee. Changes made less than 48 hours prior to your tour are not allowed. 

Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled time slot, but feel free to come early or stay later! The Cliffview Cafe will be open during the event, with food available to purchase and nightly drink specials. Red River Gorge Ziplines and Cliffview Resort are also on property. We encourage you to make it a fun full trip, to experience the excitement of the Red River Gorge!

Absolutely! We encourage people of all ages to experience the fun of Trail of Terror @ The Gorge. Riders under 18 will be required to provide parental consent.
